Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are back as Detectives Burnett and Lowrey for the third installment of the Bad Boys series, ‘Bad Boys For Life’. Sony Productions has announced filming locations in both Atlanta and Miami with a release date set for January 17, 2020.
The ‘Bad Boys For Life’ script follows Mike Lowery (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) after their partnership has gone south. Burnett is now a private eye with an unpredictable young and cocky partner; Lowery is living the single life while tackling a mid-life crisis. With an Albanian mercenary looking for Lowery and Burnett in a quest to avenge his brother’s death, the pair will have to team up to save each other’s lives.
The action-comedy is Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer; Co-Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah; Written by Chris Bremner and Joe Carnahan. With the delay of Bright 2 and the sequel of Suicide Squad, Smith is finally able to prioritize the Bad Boys reunion.
