Comedian Marina Franklin is taking Chicago by storm with the taping her first comedy special, ‘Single Black Female’.
Franklin has established her career as an actress, writer and comedian; performing her standup on ‘Conan’, ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ and Montreal’s ‘The Just For Laughs Festival’. She has made appearances on ‘The Chappelle’s Show’, ‘The Jim Gaffigan Show’ and ‘Louie’. Franklin also landed a supporting role in Amy Schumer’s ‘Trainwreck’ (2015) and wrote for the HBO comedy series, ‘Divorce’.
Franklin returns to her hometown on September 14, 2018 to perform her one-hour comedy special at The Vic.
