Eddie Murphy Returns To Standup With $70M Netflix Deal

Comedic legend, Eddie Murphy has recently closed a reported $70M deal with Netflix. Murphy has big plans to launch multiple comedy specials with the streaming platform.

The Oscar-nominated actor has hinted at a standup return before, both as a guest on Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’ and during a screening of his ‘Comedians’ appearance at the Paley Center for Media in LA.

Murphy also revealed Don Rickles asked him to return to stand-up before his death in 2017.
