Center Stage Comedy got the chance to go to Atlantic City this past weekend for the 7th Annual Atlantic City Comedy Festival. We hung out backstage and caught up with the comedians on Saturday and Sunday night.
While we thought that hurricane Matthew was going to keep everyone from seeing the show, the Atlantic City Comedy Festival prevailed without a drop of rain and delivered a hysterical show that left the audience in tears.
The Atlantic City Comedy Festival is a two day festival hosted at the historic Boardwalk Hall. This festival has made a name for its self with over 50,000 attendees over its seven year history. This year’s festival line-up featured Sheryl Underwood, Arnez J, Gary Owen, Tony Rock and Joe Clair on Saturday night. While Sunday night included Mike Epps, Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce, Jay Pharoah and Buck Wild. The Atlantic City Comedy Festival always gets very talented and top notch performers. You won’t want to miss this show next year.
Jay Pharoah gave the audience belly pains from laughing so hard at his impressions of various famous people. This festival is the perfect get-away weekend with friends or family.
