BET is launching a new reality series titled “Gary Owen Family”. The show will focus on comedian Gary Owen and his interracial family in a 30-minute unscripted series.
Gary Owen is known as one of Black America’s most popular non-black comedians. Owen was the first Caucasian man to ever host BET’s Comic View. He has starred in box office hits such as Think Like A Man, Think Like A Man Too & Ride Along. “Gary Owen Family” will be the first series in BET network’s 36-year history to have a white lead.
The show will follow Gary Owen while he plans his vow renewal ceremony and the crazy things he goes through raising three children.
No official release date has been announced yet. Stay tuned to find out when “Gary Owen Family” will premiere on BET.
