Recently, Tiffany Haddish landed her first hour-long special with Showtime network. She revisits her roots in LA’s South Central, for a live taping at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center. Tiffany Haddish’s set touches on everything from her foster care upbringing to ex-boyfriend revenge. Catch the debut of ‘Tiffany Haddish: She ready! From The Hood To Hollywood!’ on Friday, August 18th at 9pm ET/PT.
Of course, this isn’t Haddish’s only big move since the release of ‘Girls Trip’ (2017). She also has an upcoming series, ‘Face Value’ premiering on BET. The show is produced by Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwit and features co-host Deon Cole. In detail, ‘Face Value’ works to “humorously break down stereotypes, expose prejudices and celebrate the human spirit by highlighting the similarities and differences among diverse groups of people.”
In addition, Haddish will also co-star with Kevin Hart in ‘Night School’. The Universal Pictures film is directed by Will Packer and Malcolm D. Lee. The pair is also responsible for co-directing ‘Girls Trip’. Upcoming comedy, ‘Night School’ was co-written by Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard and Nick Stoller. The plot follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in preparation for the GED exam. The comedy is scheduled to debut on September 28, 2018.
Currently, Haddish is also collaborating with Tracy Morgan, Jordan Peele and Cedric The Entertainer for the TBS sitcom, ‘The Last OG’.
