Launching in May 2020, HBO Max makes its debut on the streaming scene, drawing from all corners of WarnerMedia and third-party content providers (DC Entertainment, New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment, The Wolper Organization, The CW, CNN, Turner Sports, TruTV, TBS, TNT, Rooster Teeth, Crunchyroll, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, Hanna-Barbera, Turner Classic Movies, Turner Entertainment). From award winning documentaries, and TV series to famed Hollywood blockbusters and exclusive comedy specials, HBO Max is bringing the best of media to all of its subscribers.
Joining the HBO Max content rollout is Tracy Morgan, with plans to executive produce his next one-hour comedy special for the streaming service. Following the announcement of his upcoming 2020 comedy tour, ‘No Disrespect’, it is speculated that Morgan’s HBO Max special will draw upon a similar theme.
After coming off of his latest Netflix standup special, ‘Staying Alive’, his hilarious role in the comedy, ‘What Men Want’ (2019) and starring role in the hit-TBS comedy, ‘The Last O.G.’, Morgan has been in his element with both creative material and hilarious roles.
