Notorious comedian, Katt Williams, joins the cast of the highly-anticipated 2017 comedy, Father Figures. The film is directed by Larry Sher and written by Justin Malen.
In short, the plot follows the journey of two brothers, Kyle (Owen Wilson) and Peter Reynolds (Ed Helms). The brothers take a road trip to find their biological father after learning from their mother (Glenn Close) that he is still alive. Katt Williams plays the role of a hitchhiker, who promises he’s ‘definitely not a serial killer’.
Originally, the film was titled, ‘Bastards’ . However, an extended production and new release date initiated some major changes. Allegedly, Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bro’s halted production of the motion picture in October (2015). Since then, the film has been re-branded as “Father Figures”. Currently, the movie’s debut is just in time for the holidays (December 22, 2017).
