Comedian Hannibal Buress is releasing a documentary on Netflix, titled “Hannibal Takes Edinburgh”. The film will feature Buress performing stand-up in the Scottish city.
The documentary was filmed over a period of 28 days in 2013, the same year Buress began starring on Adult Swim’s “The Eric Andre Show”.
In 2013, Hannibal Buress was just an up-and-coming comic performing at Scotland’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This new Netflix documentary will delve into Buress’ time in Scotland to give us a glimpse of who the comedian was before making a name for himself.
Since creating the documentary, Buress has created and starred in the hit show “Why? With Hannibal Buress” and has appeared in movies such as Neighbors and Daddy’s Home. His most recent special, Comedy Camisado, premiered exclusively on Netflix in February.
Watch “Hannibal Takes Edinburgh” when it debuts on Netflix Friday, April 8th.
