HBO announced earlier this year that Def Comedy Jam would be returning for its 25th anniversary with Tony Rock as the host.
The special began taping earlier this month at the Avalon Theater in Los Angeles with Russel Simmons as the executive producer. The release date of the special is set for some time in November on HBO.
