In honor of the Def Comedy’s Jam 25th anniversary, Netflix is launching a six-episode series, Def Comedy Jam 25. The special airs on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. The special will celebrate, “The impact and legacy of the long-running comedy series with surprise guests, tributes and performances, including both unbelievably funny and raw moments.”
The cast includes:
Stan Lathan, Russell Simmons, Jesse Collins and Sandy Wernick executive produce.
Netflix recently hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the series’ launch at The Beverly Hilton on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
Among the Def Comedy Jam 25 cast and production, were Netflix’s CCO and VP in attendance. In addition to starring in the Def Comedy Jam 25 special, comedians Mike Epps, Sommore, and Earthquake will also be performing LIVE for the Atlantic City Comedy Festival on Columbus Day Weekend at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.
