Netflix’s Def Comedy Jam 25

In honor of the Def Comedy’s Jam 25th anniversary, Netflix is launching a six-episode series, Def Comedy Jam 25. The special airs on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. The special will celebrate, The impact and legacy of the long-running comedy series with surprise guests, tributes and performances, including both unbelievably funny and raw moments.”

    Netflix recently hosted an exclusive event to celebrate the series’ launch at The Beverly Hilton on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

    Among the Def Comedy Jam 25 cast and production, were Netflix’s CCO and VP in attendance. Various celebrities made appearances as well, including Comedians Earthquake, Marlon Wayans, DeRay Davis, Mark Curry, Affion Crockett, Michael Ealy, Boogie B, Retta and Amanda Seales ; Producer, Kenya Barris; Screenwriter, Diallo Riddle ; Musicians, Leon Bridges and Estelle ; Rappers, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Flava Flav ; NBA Athletes, Deandre Jordan and Metta World Peace ; Actors, Neil Brown Jr., Morris Chestnut, Deon Cole, Michael Colter, Omar Epps, Lance Gross, DeRon Horton, Bernard David Jones, Gerald Johnson, Trevante Rhodes, Marque Richardson, Jesse Williams, Tyrese Gibson ; Actresses, Logan Browning, Nia Long, Meagan Good, Karrueche Tran and Dewanda Wise.

    In addition to starring in the Def Comedy Jam 25 special, comedians Mike Epps, Sommore, and Earthquake will also be performing LIVE for the Atlantic City Comedy Festival on Columbus Day Weekend at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ. 

    Comedians Katt Williams and Mike Epps also headline on their own Fall tour dates (listed below).
