On April 15, 1990, In Loving Color debuted on Fox and quickly became an instant success, winning the 1990 Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series in its’ first season. Although the show only ran for a short time (Final Episode: May 19, 1994), it left a huge legacy behind it.

Whether it was its’ cultural impact, the TV boundaries it pushed or launching the careers of many comedians and entertainers, such as Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, David Alan Grier, Tommy Davidson, Jennifer Lopez and pretty much the entire Wayans family, among many others, In Living Color is an iconic piece of American television.
