Comedians Kevin Hart, Tom Middleditch and Ed Helms star in the classic comic-book comedy, ‘Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie’.
Hart and Middleditch flourish in their lead roles as a pair of elementary school pranksters, George Beard and Harold Hutchins, who hypnotize their principal, Mr. Krupp, into believing he’s a seriously stupid superhero, Captain Underpants (Ed Helms).

DreamWorks Animations based the motion picture off Dave Pilkey’s notorious book series, published between 1997-2015. David Soren directs the film, the screenplay is written by Nicholas Stoller, and supporting roles are played by Jordan Peele (Melvin Sneedly), Kristen Schaal (Edith) and Nick Kroll (Professor Poopypants).

The film debuts in theatres on June 2, 2017. If this resembles anything close to the beloved and controversial comic-books that enlivened our childhood imaginations, we are sure it will be nothing short of amazing.
