The Funny As ISH Comedy Tour is coming to Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, MS on November 1, 2019 @ 8PM – with comedians Mike Epps, Gary Owen, Sommore, Bruce Bruce and Mark Curry!

Mike Epps is just coming off of his fifth self-produced standup special, ‘Only One Mike’ (Netflix, 2019) and recently released hit-single ‘We Goin’ Out’. Last year, Harper Collins published Epps’ memoir, ‘Unsuccessful Thug: One Comedian’s Journey From Naptown To Tinseltown’. His signature humor is showcased in the iconic hit films Friday After Next (2002), All About The Benjamins (2002), Janky Promoters (2009) and Meet The Blacks (2016). This past year, Epps starred in a handful of popular films including, The Last Black Man In San Francisco (2019), The Trap (2019), House Next Door (2019) and How High 2 (2019). His memorable standup specials Inappropriate Behavior (2006), Funny Bidness (2009), Under Rated…Never Faded & X-Rated (2009), LIVE From Club Nokia (2011) continue to draw laughs from his loyal, growing fan-base.

Gary Owen just launched his widely successful Showtime standup special, ‘#DoinWhatIDo’. His unforgettable appearances in the hit films Think Like A Man (2012), Think Like A Man Too (2014), Ride Along (2014), Meet The Blacks (2016), Daddy Day Care (2003) and Little Man (2006)  make him a staple in the comedy scene. The comedian has been proclaimed, ‘Black America’s Favorite Comedian by Ebony Magazine. Owen’s show-stopping sets on Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam and self-produced standup specials True Story (2012), I Agree With Myself (2015), Breakin Out In The Park (2008) and Urban Legend (2008) continue to draw mass acclaim. Owen continues to captivate audiences with his unapologetically hysterical Apple podcast, ‘#GetSome’ (2017-2019).

Sommore, aka ‘The One Chandelier’ recently released her 4th self-produced comedy special ‘A Queen With No Spades’ (Showtime, 2018). Deemed ‘A force to be reckoned with’ by Oprah Winfrey, Sommore is most commonly known for her appearance in The Original Queens of Comedy as well as the hit films ‘Friday After Next’ (2002), Soul Plane and Dirty Laundry. Sommore’s signature standup sets have been performed on Def Comedy Jam, Showtime At The Apollo, ComicView and BET LIVE From L.A.

Bruce Bruce is best known as the former host of BET’s ComicView and from his standup performances on Comedy Central Presents (1998), Just For Laughs (2003), Platinum Comedy Series: Bruce Bruce LIVE (2003) and his special ‘Losin It’ (2011). The comedian has appeared on Wild N’ Out (2007) and Maron (2015). He has also been featured in the films XXX: State of The Union (2005), Think Like A Man (2012), Who’s Your Caddy (2007), The Wash (2001), Hair Show (2004), Idlewild (2006), Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2005) and Top Five (2014).

Mark Curry recently appeared in the Netflix sitcom, ‘Family Reunion’ (2019) and Nick At Nite’s live-action sitcom, ‘See Dad Run’ (2012). His most noteworthy roles include appearances on the ABC’s Hangin; With Mr. Cooper (1992-1997) and guest appearances on the shows Martin (1997), Living Single (1994), House of Payne (2008), All That (1996), Instant Mom (2013), One Love (2015) and Black Jesus (2015). Curry has appeared in the films Talkin’ Dirty After Dark (1991), Panther (1995), The Fanatics (1997), Switchback (1997), Armageddon (1998), A Man Is Mostly Water (2000), Motocrossed (2001), The Poof Point (2001) and Poolboy: Drowning Out Fury (2011). His most memorable standup performances include his sets on Laffapalooza! (2008), HBO Comedy Showcase (1995), Def Comedy Jam (2006) and Comedy Central Presents (1999). Curry’s specials include The Other Side (1996) and Back Lot Special – with Delta Burke (1994). Curry has been a part of Platinum Comedy Series: Roasting Shaquille O’ Neal (2002), TV One’s Roast and Toast: John Witherspoon (2009) and hosted Gotham Comedy LIVE (2014). In addition to appearing on countless comedy tours, Curry has also made music video appearances in Too $horts ‘I Ain’t Trippin’, Bow Wow’s ‘Take You Home’ and Young Dolph (ft. 2 Chainz & Juicy J)’s ‘Pull Up’.
