Comedian Langston Kerman’s half-hour special debuts next week on Comedy Central. His standup set was taped in front of a live audience @ San Francisco’s The Punch Line on June 20, 2018.
Today (September 18, 2018) Kerman tweeted an official announcement – his special will be available to watch, streaming on-air, online (www.cc.com) and on-the-go via the Comedy Central App next week.
Next week my half hour special comes out on Comedy Central. You’ll only actually see about 21 minutes of jokes because they’ll need to periodically interrupt my art for commercials featuring a blue bear using toilet paper in front of his kids. Please watch! pic.twitter.com/PdXWXNvDNd

For over 22 seasons, the Comedy Central half-hour specials have marked important career milestones for standup comedians; cementing the network’s interest in potential future partnerships.
The Oak Park-based comic, actor and writer has starred in the FX pilot, Singularity and the HBO hit comedy series Insecure. Kerman has made appearances on ‘High Maintenance’, ‘Strangers’ and ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’. In 2016, he was a part of Chris Rock’s writing team, Comedy Central’s ‘Problematic with Moshe Kasher’ and ‘South Side’. He continues to tour his national standup and was honored as a ‘New Face’ on The Just for Laughs Festival. Kerman was also named a finalist at the Standup NBC Diversity Showcase (@ Hollywood Improv).
Langston Kerman’s last feature on Comedy Central was in 2016 for his segment ‘Books N’ Thangs’ on Season 3, Episode 4 of Adam Devine’s House Party.
Now, Kerman is moving up, taking CC’s center stage for his first-ever solo network standup special.
