Notorious comedian, Katt Williams, has joined the cast of the highly-anticipated 2017 comedy, ‘Father Figures’.
The film plot follows the journey of two brothers, Kyle (Owen Wilson) and Peter Reynolds (Ed Helms) who go on a road trip to find their biological father (potential fathers played by J.K. Simmons, Christopher Walken, and Terry Bradshaw) after learning that their mother, Helen Baxter (Glenn Close) lied to them about his death during their childhood. Katt Williams plays the role of a hitchhiker, who promises he’s definitely not a serial killer.
The film was recently retitled from, ‘Bastards’ to ‘Father Figures’ with a tentative release date set for late January (2017). The cast and crew began filming in October (2015) in Atlanta, GA, but Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bro’s halted promotions of the motion picture for undisclosed reasons. Despite the delay in production, the re-vamped film debuts just in time for the holidays (December 22, 2017).
‘Father Figures’ is directed by cinematographer, Larry Sher, written by Justin Malen and features performances by Ed Helms, Owen Wilson, J. K. Simmons Terry Bradshaw, Ving Rhames, Katt Williams, Rhetta, June Squibb, Glenn Close, Bill Irwin, Harry Shearer, Katie Aselton, Zachary Haven, Brian Huskey, Ryan Cartwright and Ryan Burke.

Katt has been on the road since December (2016) for his national ‘Great America Tour’ which is scheduled to stretch into the Fall. The tour has hit the following cities: Cleveland, Chicago, Miami, Richmond, Atlantic City, Nashville, Brooklyn, DC, Shreveport and Raleigh – with shows remaining in Boston and Little Rock.
