Jerrod Carmichael is a stand up comedian and actor who stars as a “frat boy” in the movie Neighbors.
Jerrod Carmichael is an LA based stand up and performer originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has been crafting his stand up for over three years and this year was featured in Variety as being one of the top ten comics to watch, as well as being one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival.
On October 4 Carmichael’s stand up special, Love At The Store, aired on HBO and has been well received by audiences with much critical acclaim. Not only was Love At The Store Carmichael’s first stand up special, a big moment for any comedian – especially being featured on HBO, but it was directed by Spike Lee, who is a big fan of young comedian.
Jerrod is a regular around some of LA’s favorite standup shows, including Meltdown, The Improv, Laugh Factory and many alternative rooms.
