Within the last month, filming for Mike Epps’ latest movie, “The Trap” has been on a roll in Atlanta, GA. On-set candids of the cast and production team have been gracing Epps’ Instagram feed since late June. Tip “T.I.“ Harris, Teyana Taylor, Loretta Devine, Queen Latifah, Big Boi, DC Young Fly and Lil Duval are among the many stars collaborating on this major upcoming comedy. Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere join with fellow director, Chris Robinson and producers Mike Epps, Niles Kirchner, T.I. and Brian Sher to execute the Nile Evans’ written script.
Epps and T.I. co-star as brothers in “The Trap” – T.I.’s character returns home to Atlanta to help save a failing run-down restaurant owned by his brother (Mike Epps) and mother (Loretta Devine). A change in the chicken recipe revives the location, but also brings a series of unexpected problems.
Filming is set to wrap tomorrow, July 20th with a TBD release date. Check out the exclusive, behind the scenes images of cast and crew:
